Nurse and activist, Margaret Sanger has the merit of having introduced the concepts of “birth control” and “conscious sexuality”. Even today the female world struggles for self-determination and the elimination of inequalities, a century ago Sanger founded the American Birth Control League. The strength and commitment of this woman teach us that by persevering, change can be made possible.
